Chicago White Sox- Mark Buerhle Perfect Game Case

This display case was made by the Chicago White Sox to honor pitcher Mark Buerhle after he pitched a perfect game on July 23rd, 2009. The White Sox posted an article HERE which states: Buehrle hurled a perfect game and led the White Sox to a 5-0 win over Tampa Bay at U.S. Cellular Field, where 28,036 in attendance held their breath with each pitch. After every out, the roar of the crowd got just a little bit louder.

And when Josh Fields wrapped his mitt around shortstop Alexei Ramirez’s throw on ground ball at first base to end the game, the South Side erupted with thunderous applause for its hero.
